Our Support for the 14th Street Viaduct Shared Use Path

On May 22nd, Hudson County announced a proposal to design a shared use path on the 14th Street Viaduct.

Local transportation safety groups have been advocating for this project for many years. Sustained advocacy from local residents, along with Bike Hoboken, led to Hoboken City Council unanimously adopting a resolution in support of this project in 2023.

Our organization, along with Hudson County Complete Streets, Weebiken, SafeStreetsJC, Bike North Bergen, and Bike JC, have released a letter in support of this project, which you can read below.
